Worship Workshop
If you are part of a worship band, media team, hospitality team, or you're just interested in some of the new things happening at First Church, then the Worship Workshop is for you! Join us Saturday, July 31st from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm as we discuss everything from technical set-up to music performance and everything in between. Registration starts at 8:30 am and we'll end the day with a cook-out! See you there!
WhiteCaps Baseball game!
Join us Monday evening, August 2nd as we enjoy a family night of baseball, right here in West Michigan! The WhiteCaps are hosting a "Family & Faith Night" and you can get HALF PRICE tickets simply by bringing a CHURCH BULLETIN with you!
We will meet on the outside concourse right before game time to get tickets. Sign up on the bulletin board at church or see Mike Simmons for details.
Midweek Bible Study
We WILL be continuing our in-depth Bible study throughout the summer, as we examine the book of Romans. During the summer months, we will NOT be serving a meal, so come at 6:30 and feed your spirit with some good Word! It is truly well worth your time to join us during the week in fellowship and discussion. Hope to see you there!
Prayer Meetings
PRAYER TIMES
In addition to meeting on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8:30 am for prayer, we have also have a 3rd open prayer time on Wednesdays at noon. Please join us at lunchtime as we intercede for our families, our church and our community.
Come and join us as we join together as unified prayer warriors.
Bible Studies
The Women's Bible Study will meet the first and third Sundays of each month, here at First Church. NEW for the summer months: A new book study from the book "Captivating: Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul" by Thomas and Stasi Eldredge. You will NOT want to miss this series, led by Michelle Cooper.
The Men's Bible Study will meet the second and fourth Sundays. We are beginning a book study also, reading Craig Groeshel's best-seller, "The Christian Atheist". Prepare yourself to be challenged and encouraged in your faith.
All meetings start at 6:00 pm. In case of a fifth Sunday, there will be no meetings.
