This Week at First Church...
"Guatemala 2012"
Once again, we have the privilege of sending another team of servants to Guatemala to help build the Church of God, literally and spiritually. Eleven men, representing three churches - First Church, Edgewood and Orchard View - will be ministering the Gospel and working on a construction project from January 23rd - February 4th. Please pray for them as they go in the strength of the Lord!
Pastor Mike Simmons will be sharing the Word of God in both services this Sunday, January 29th - please join us and worship with us! Pastor Bob and the team will be sharing stories and pictures on February 5th. Hope to see all of you there!

Young at Heart
Our Senior's Group is called "Young at Heart" and we meet on Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 10:15 am, during the Early Worship Service. Contact Pastor Mike for additional information.
Starting January 8 - "The Wonders of Heaven"
Each month, typically on the last Monday at 4:00 pm, we serve over 100 local families with over 5,000 pounds of food with our Mobile Food Bank. We provide cold water in the summer months and hot coffee during the winter to help our guests experience the helping hand of God's family. Would YOU like to get involved? Stop by around 2:45 pm on the Monday we are distributing the food to help set up and then stay to hand out the food. It's a great time together that you have to experience for yourself.
January's truck will arrive January 30th, 2011.

PRAYER TIMES
In addition to meeting on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 am for prayer, we have also have a 2nd open prayer time on Wednesdays at 5:00 pm, right before our Family Meal. Please join us as we intercede for our families, our church and our community.
