The S Factor G-YA Lock-In Promo: Coming Soon! Past Events
Fifth Quarter (August-October 2008) The Mission"The mission of the Greenville Youthleaders Association is to facilitate the cooperation of churches in Greenville across denominational and traditional lines in planning outreach events where currently-attending students can be nurtured in their faith, where unchurched students can be reached with the Gospel and where Christian fellowship of students and leaders can take place in a safe and loving environment."
The MeetingsOur meetings occur on the first Saturday of each month at 8:00 AM. The meeting shifts month by month to one of our member churches. We meet together to plan events, share stories from our respective ministries, and uplift one another in fellowship and prayer. Our meetings usually include breakfast provided by the host church. Any church leaders with students in any of the Greenville schools (Greenville, Grattan, Faith) are welcome to attend our meetings.
The EventsWe plan a variety of events as a group, which we put on and staff together for any student in the community. In the fall, we offer Fifth Quarter events following Greenville High School football games. During the winter, we assist the Greenville Ministerial Association in working at the Community Christmas Dinner. In the spring, we typically put on a Lock-In in the month of March, work with the GMA at the Greenville High School baccalaureate in May and a School's Out Blowout on the last day of school for Greenville schools in June.
